Become an HAC Exhibiting member - it's open to everyone.

HAC aims to facilitate the public showing and sale of work produced by HSoA students and the wider community. To this end the school reincorporated HAC in 2014. With its origins at Camden Art Centre, HAC is the art school’s mother organisation and invites members to submit work for at least three exhibitions per year.

Special conditions may apply to separate exhibitions

General requirements-

• Maximum works per show will be announced and may be selected.
• All work submitted will be for sale.• All work submitted will be for sale.
• Membership fees are £30 per year (from September to August)
• A hanging fee will be set per piece of work accepted.
• Please supply the work with a hanging wire at the back.
• We are unable to accept artwork framed in glass.
• Mirror plates will be added if necessary and charged at £2 each (£4 the pair)
• A commission on each sale will be payable to HSoA.
• On registering for this membership, individuals will be bound by the HSoA Exhibiting membership (see below).

£5 entry fee per artwork
plus £5 artwork handling fee for each work selected - and 25% commission on sales

Exhibition dates: 22 January - 11 February 2017

Work should be priced between £100 and £1000
Maximum size 100 cm x 100 cm / sculptures will unfortunately not be accepted this year
We are unable to accept artwork framed in glass.

Maximum size 100 cm x 100 cm / 30 cm height for sculpture

Exhibiting Membership: Terms and Conditions 

  1. Artists must be 16 years plus.
  2. All artworks must be originals or short limited edition of handmade prints.
  3. Paintings must be dry.
  4. All work must be framed, no clip frames, or glass please.
  5. Canvases stretched on good quality frames are acceptable without frames.
  6. Unless otherwise stated artworks should have a wire across the back for  hanging. 
  7. All work must be submitted in ‘stiffy bags’ - available from the school office.
  8. Work must be collected from HSoA within 3 days of the final date of the exhibition, thereafter, uncollected work will incur a storage charge of £5 per day. After five days any uncollected work will be donated to charity.
  9. Artists take part in the events at their own risk. HSoA does not accept responsibility for any loss, breakage, damage or theft of their work. Please have personal insurance in place.
  10. All work must be inoffensive and its suitability is solely at the discretion of the school. HSoA reserves the right to reject work for exhibition.
  11. Work will be displayed wherever it is felt best without prior arrangement with the artist.
  12. Artists will be reimbursed by cheque through HSoA within 10 days of the sale transaction.
  13. Terms and conditions may be subject to change.
  14. On registering for this membership individuals will be bound by these terms.
