HSoA Giant Eggs in Hampstead

Two Giant eggs: left in Haverstock Hill, Belsize right; Flask Walk, Hampstead
Left egg by Malcolm Willet (Haverstock Hill, Belsize) right egg by Lissy Willet (Flask Walk, Hampstead)

Giant Eggs in Hampstead...HSoA teamed up with Hampstead and Belsize Town Teams, bringing two 2 giant eggs to Hampstead (in Flask Walk) and to Haverstock Hill in Belsize (outside Thorntons Budgens).

The Eggs are a reminder for residents and visitors to support independent traders, without whom life on our high streets would be much more dull. Do shop Indie this spring!

The Giant egg on Flask Walk is aimed at children and designed by Lissy Willett, an HSoA artist. The Giant egg outside Thorntons Budgens is designed by her father, also an HSoA painter, Malcolm Willett.

There is a competition running in which the best selfies will be entered into our competition to win a number of prizes being:

1. A bottle of Moet & Chandon champagne;
2. A picnic basket;
3. 4 prizes of taster classes at Hampstead School of Art being for 2 children and for 2 adults.

When you take a selfie, please share on Instagram on ‪#‎Hampstead‬ or ‪#‎Belsize‬ hashtag. The prizes will be drawn in the week of 13 April.
