More success for HSoA student
Peter Bowen has pieces selected to exhibit at 2 new competitions
Congratulations again to Peter Bowen. Following recent news that his self-portrait was accepted for the Ruth Borchard exhibition he has now had works accepted for two more exhibitions.
His oil painting of Hadleigh Castle is currently on display at the Beecroft Gallery in Southend as part of the 55th Essex Open art exhibition. The exhibition continues until 28th September 2013.
Peter’s portrait of his daughter Ella has won a place in the Threadneedle Prize exhibition at the Mall Galleries opening on 25th September. The Threadneedle Prize is the leading competition for figurative and representational painting and sculpture. At £30,000, it is one of the most valuable art prizes in the United Kingdom.
