Mixed Media allows children to explore their creativity through the usage of different materials and techniques while creating their own artwork. By introducing materials such as clay, collage printmaking, drawing and painting, children also engage in problem-solving, learnning about perspective, tonal drawing, direct observational drawing and imaginative composition, learning to mix colour, all of which anchors painterly knowledge and confidence.
