A Super Special Weekend Workshop for children!
For Picasso, paper was both a tool to explore his ideas and a material with limitless possibilities. Immersing the children into Picasso’s world of paper they will discover how special this everyday material is when one applies ideas and sculptural techniques to it.
Looking at ideas surrounding portraits, the children will create a series of drawings and test pieces, leading to one or more paper portrait heads.
Children's Workshops explained: The Building Blocks of Creative Thinking. When children enter HSoA they are no longer perceived as kids but as art students immersed in a rich tapestry of art learning. This not only helps develop art techniques and knowledge but provides the building blocks of creativity which are so valuable in daily life and work.
