Projects start with exploring an idea often based on an artist's work and progressing through series of studies to develop designs, using a variety of media including, cut outs, colour work and painting, leading to a final design using pottery.
Children's Workshops explained: The Building Blocks of Creative Thinking. When children enter HSoA they are no longer perceived as kids but as art students immersed in a rich tapestry of art learning. This not only helps develop art techniques and knowledge but provides the building blocks of creativity which are so valuable in daily life and work.
