For the first time in London since 1984, the National Gallery will display major Impressionist paintings from the Courtauld Gallery from Manet to Cézanne, tracing the development of Impressionist and Post-Impressionist paintings through a selection of over 40 masterpieces.
At the first of our free Open Invitation Lectures of the Autumn Term on Thursday 8 November 6:30 – 7:30pm, Art Critic and HSoA Tutor Estelle Lovatt will talk you through a number of the works on display before you make your personal visit.
Estelle Lovatt FRSA, art critic & lecturer, has the unique experience of working on both sides of the canvas, having trained as a painter and read art history she’s able to judge artworks with expert opinion.
