Using both traditional and creative processes of sculpting in terracotta, we will look closely at the planes of the body, approaches to modelling including detailing of facial characteristics, the use of tools and preparation for firing. Beginners, intermediate and advanced students welcome.

Alessandro is an Italian sculptor, based in London; who developed his love of terracotta and skills in the Neapolitan artisan world of traditional Presepe (Nativity scenes).
