HSoA Christmas Fundraising Exhibition
Fundraising is an essential activity for Hampstead School of Art especially now during the Pandemic. The artists whose work is exhibited have all kindly donated their work so that the sales could benefit the art schools continuing work.
The exhibition includes work by Caroline Deane, Tim Benson, Vincent Milne, Derek Ogbourne, Tony Wigg, Frank Skinner (the TV Comedian), Patrick Blower (The Telegraph Cartoonist), Malcolm Willet, David Caldwell, Barry Hoffbrand and many more amazing artists.
As a not for profit Charity this period has been extremely challenging.
The history of art is also the history of patronage. From the Medici’s in Renaissance Florence to Peggy Guggenheim in the 20th century, patrons, and supporters of the arts have helped to shape the art school from Henry Moore, who was a lifelong Patron, to Sir Frank Bowling today.
Creativity and innovation are essential to us, please fall in love with a piece of art and know that in buying it you will be helping to support the survival and therefore the continuing development of Hampstead School of Art.
A huge thank you to all the artists who have donates and a huge thank you to you for buying and supporting the art school.
Best wishes for the Christmas Season,
Isabel H Langtry, Principal, Hampstead School of Art
