How do artists come up with ideas for new work?
In this workshop we discuss how to optimise your creative process, find methods to encourage inspiration, and produce work that feels authentically yours.
I'll talk about creativity, play, tapping into creative potential, finding inspiration and practical measures to facilitate idea formation.
Alongside conceptual ideas about creativity, we'll be reading thoughts from artists and other creatives about inspiration and creativity.
We'll also do some hands-on work to examine how you might put these thoughts into practice, and discuss participants' creative road blocks and positive paths to inspiration.
