Hampstead School of Art was delighted to welcome 120 visitors to the Private View of Colin Andrews Retrospective exhibition.

In her speech Janet Andrews spoke about Colin's career as a commercial illustrator and cartoonist and his secret life as a painter in oils, watercolour, charcoal and pencil.

The Principal Isabel Langtry welcomed the visitors and spoke about the Historic Art School and how it welcomes proposals for exhibitions from local artists, at no cost, in thanking Henry Moore for helping to set up the art school in the 1940's and making art learning accessible for everyone, she also spoke about the skill and vision on show by Colin Andrews and thanked everyone involved in the organisation of the exhibition.
