HSoA full time Foundation and Advanced courses open for 2019/20 applications

We are now receiving portfolios and interviewing for our Full Time Courses starting this September. With a small student cohort places are limited so we strongly recommend applying early. For full details on how to apply please contact the school office.

Our Foundation Course develops learners’ understanding and awareness of the opportunities and demands of study in Fine Art and Design. It provides a context in which learners can identify their strengths and ambitions through a sequential exploration of skills and concepts. Students will develop an informed awareness and understanding of the relationship between their strengths and ambitions, and achievable targets.

This year students on our Foundation Course have received offers for undergraduate study at Central St.Martins, Camberwell School of Art, Chelsea School of Art, Kingston School of Art, Leeds Arts University, Manchester University, Middlesex University and Westminster.

Our Advanced Course is especially designed for those interested in pursuing their practice further by establishing their new location through exploration and discussion. The course programme is planned in dialogue with the tutor and is tailored to the students ambitions. Previous students have used the course as a bridge to Postgraduate studies in Art and Design.

For those interesting in building a portfolio, or to sample an experience of the course we are running a portfolio course this summer. Further details can be found here
